Bryce Harper Celebrates Jackie Robinson Day with UCLA-themed fit
Stop the record!!! The brotha Moses Fleetwood “Fleet” Walker actually broke baseball’s color barrier on May 1, 1884, when he starred at catcher for the Toledo Blue Stockings in their opening game in the then-major-league American Association. Several decades later, the courageous Jackie Robinson became the first Black American to play in what is still Major League Baseball on April 15, 1947. The MLB now honors the occasion annually with Jackie Robinson Day, and baseball’s Swag Champ, Bryce Harper, decided to go all out this year by rockin’ a UCLA themed sleeve, batting gloves and cleats as a tribute to Robinson’s alma mater. The boy Bryce never disappoints.
