Fab Is Back! Juwan Howard Returns To The Maize & Blue As Michigan's Head Coach

The University of Michigan went back to its roots this May, hiring Fab Five representer Juwan Howard as its new head basketball coach. In the history of exploiting athletes for millions without compensation, no group of student athletes has had or will have a bigger cultural impact than the Fab Five. Taking a page out of the University of Memphis’ book by hiring one of its legends -- the Tigers hired Penny Hardaway and now have the nation’s top recruiting class -- Michigan now has a leg up on the recruiting trail as the country’s top athletes will innately flock to Ann Arbor to play for a guy who helped change the landscape of college basketball, became an NBA All-Star and mentored the likes of Hall of Famers Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Howard replaces the school’s winningest coach, John Beilein, who recently made the leap to the NBA by filling the Cavaliers’ head coaching vacancy.

Ps: Another beautiful thing about this hire is it squashed the beef between members of the Fab Five. "We're not going to bring that to Ann Arbor's campus with Juwan Howard as our head coach," said Jalen Rose.

This is the type of man, you want leading young men.
