What was your first job?
So we have this thing in Utah called the Parade of Homes, and it’s basically a tour and people go around and tour all these giant mansions. One of my high school coaches was a part-time builder who hooked me up with a job to drive a golf cart. I would drive people from the back of the house – where they parked -- to the front of the house. It was my first summer job and I made like two grand that summer. It was awesome for a 16-year-old, and there were plenty of shenanigans with the golf cart too. It has to be the best first job ever!
What’s your pet peeve?
I have a lot actually, but the biggest is people that drive under the speed limit in the fast lane.
Growing up, who was your favorite Cowboys player?
[Jason] Witten. I have never told him that, either. I will probably never tell him.
What car did you drive to work in today?
I just drive a silver Ford Explorer. I’m not too flashy.
As a kid, what was your favorite Halloween costume?
The Scream mask guy. I was 8 or so and I had the fake bloody knife and all. The goal wasn’t to get a lot of candy but to scare as many people as possible.
What’s your favorite football movie?
The Longest Yard.
If there was an actor who played you in a movie, who would it guy?
The guy who played Dalton in Road House – Patrick Swayze baby!
Would you rather have a nice pair of shoes or a nice watch?
Watch. Shoes get so messed up. I’ve been trying to get a Rolex, but that’s way down the road.
Do you have any superstitions?
I used to have a ton, but now it’s like I have to listen to the same playlist when I am in the shower, especially before I get ready before a game. The playlist is the entire album by Logic. It’s called The Incredible True Story.
Who’s your celebrity crush?
I couldn’t tell you because I like my girlfriend.
Your go-to breakfast?
Pancakes, eggs, bacon. I’m a simple man.
Favorite candy bar?
What’s the best part of being a Dallas Cowboy?
The fans. The fans are great and every time we hit the field, they show us how awesome they are. Even when we show up to away games, it’s like a home game.
